Redirecting Children’s Behavior (RCB) is a positive of parenting course which teaches parents to recognize the four basic behaviors children. Commonly found by parents are the behaviors of attention, avoidance, power struggle and revenge. Parents become drained of energy when they have to repeatedly correct their child’s behavior for the same thing over and over again. In RCB a parent learns how to positively redirect their child’s behavior so as to make permanent changes rather than temporary changes through yelling or spanking. RCB is based on the theories of Alfred Adler and Rudolf Dreikus, well known for their work in behavior modification.
